Unfortunately for this place it is very small. So if they have any type of inclement weather it can get rather crowded. The staff are very friendly, which is always a plus. As for the food. The breakfast potatoes are way under cooked and the poached eggs were way over cooked. And since you will be paying a good amount of money for this type of breakfast/brunch you would expect for them to get the food cooked properly. As for the other items on the menu. All the sandwiches and wraps are premade so don't expect anything to be fresh. Which in this day and age all sandwiches and wraps should be made fresh, it doesn't take a great deal of time, like come on. The restaurant/coffee shop is located in a beautiful area, very quiet, right along the water and a nice place to go for a walk. So I'll give them that.
Great local find for us out of towners. More of a coffee shop with an upgraded menu. Fun neighborhood along the river. Place was busy with bicyclers refueling on their rides. We had a delicious breakfast with exceptional service. Definitely recommend for a quick bite.
Really nice coffee shop. Good food. Owner chef won Chopped Canada. Much variety for different eating. Outdoor patio really nice. Very bike friendly.
Stomping grounds is currently setting the bar for coffee shops in the Pitt Meadows area. If you are looking for a one stop shop to get brunch and coffee on a nice weekend this is a good place to pick as you will more than likely run into someone you know. I would agree with other reviews to say rainy days it can get quite loud and crowded so be ready to get your coffee to go instead of sitting outside and enjoying the community.
Great room with a view, open and airy with big garage doors perfect for a cool drink on the patio in the summer. Great food, prepared by an award-winning chef, all at very reasonable prices. Plus Osprey Village is a very charming locale.
