The staff working here are mostly quite young but they are typically quite nice and helpful. Sometimes you have to track someone down for a change room or a different size of shoes but that's to be expected. Wouldn't recommend getting skates sharpened, go to a good hockey shop for that.
Just went in about 45 minutes ago. I only went in to look at sneakers didn't buy anything. As i was leaving one employee said to another i love how people wonder in and not buy anything. Yet they are standing around not working
Super happy with my most recent experience at the Pitt Meadows Sport Chek. We bought my son a new pair of skates. He tried a new brand and wore them once. He could barely skate, as they were pinching his heels badly. Went back today to see what they could do, and they gave me a full refund and helped us find the right new pair. Great customer service!
The store is small and cramped with too much stuff. They have signs for sales and when you get to the till they tell you they arnt having a sale. It's annoying. Will drive to Willowbrook from now on.
All in all a good place to shop for sports equipment. Today they did not have what I was looking for. Staff were able to acknowledge that it was not currently an item they stock. Suggested I try again closer to hockey season, I would say it is always hockey season .
