Absolutely amazing experience. Enjoyed a guided horseback riding tour with my wife through beautiful BC landscapes, this included open fields with mountain backdrops and we even trekked through a couple of shallow rivers. Our tour guide "Cowboy" was the best, very personable and he provided great comedic relief :). It was a great time and I look forward to our next visit.

Me and my friends had great experience at Leghorn Ranch trail ride. Janet was a prefect guide for us. The ride was really fun and relaxing the same time. Trails were beautiful. We went through different fields and rivers. Horses are so gentle and well trained. It was fantastic for beginners like us.

I absolutely love leghorn Ranch, I wish I live in Vancouver. My friends and I were so fortunate to come across this place and experience an amazing ride. They were so welcoming and our small group allowed them to get to know us even more. Janette made an effort to get to know me even further as she walked beside me as I rode Tex. In addition the trail was so beautiful with grey stones and clean. Lastly I have been to many different kinds of barns in the UK, Texas and Canada, and I am in awe with their set up. You can see that they cherish and love their horses. Definitely worth it and I would go again in a heart beat.

Went for my second trail ride at Leghorn Ranch today and loved it more than the first! Janet and Hanif are wonderful hosts and obviously take great care of their horses. The landscape you ride through is breathtaking. I got to ride through a long river the first ride which was awesome, this time though the water was too high and fast so we gave it a miss! Will definitely be back next year. Thank you Janet and Hanif!!

Prior to getting on the horse I was nervous about getting buck off from the horse or having a runaway horse. The ranch was easy to find and staff was very friendly. First they get you to sign a waiver and fit you into a riding helmet. Next the staff will determine which horse will fit you. Then you will spend 5 to 10 minutes in the ranch to learn the basics such as getting the horse to turn left/right, move forward and most importantly is stop. Once the group has been trained the basics then they load up the horses into the trailer. The drive from the ranch to the trail is about 8 minutes away. At the trail the horses are unloaded and hop onto the same horse you were partnered up early at the ranch. The ride at the trail was fun but very dusty as I near the back of the group. Went went in a large circle on the trail and in the creek. It was fun and had a super great time with my partner . Important to know how to stop the horse because on the trail the horse tends to gallop at certain points during the trail ride.
